Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Khive mobile application and the website khive.app, operated by ZELITHON PRIVATE LIMITED (“Zelithon”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Khive or this site, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Khive is a personal productivity app — an extended memory for capturing thoughts into spaces, reminders, checklists, and related features. Core use does not require a Zelithon account. Optional features (such as Google Drive backup) may require third-party accounts you control.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Khive. The app is not directed at children under 13.

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Khive on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to your download.

Your content

You retain ownership of the thoughts and other content you create in Khive. Because the library is local-first, you are responsible for backing up and protecting content on your device. If you use optional cloud backup, encrypted packs are stored in your chosen cloud account under that provider’s terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the app or website, or attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with security, availability, or other users
• Use Khive for unlawful purposes
• Reverse engineer, redistribute, or exploit the app except as allowed by law

Third-party services

Optional integrations (including Google Sign-In and Google Drive) are provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use those features. We are not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes.

Intellectual property

Khive, including its name, logos, design, and software, is owned by ZELITHON PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors. See also our Copyright notice. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

Khive and this website are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that local or backup data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zelithon and ZELITHON PRIVATE LIMITED are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of Khive or khive.app.

App Store terms

If you obtained Khive from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable store’s terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Khive, except as required by their store rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.
